GAME NIGHT......For All
One of the games that Deven and I use to play when we first got married was RISK. It has been a long time since we've played. The kids asked Deven if he would play with them and it has become a weekly thing. I can't however get interested.
Since RISK is a little too hard for the little boys they decided to play Lego Star Wars. They are funny to listen to with their laughter. Zach has the biggest belly laugh that makes me smile to hear it.
This picture makes me laugh because Zach couldn't even look at the camera. He was too interested in the game.
Four weeks ago I joined a weight loss challenge. Which is my game every night.  While everyone was playing and it was quiet I did my 30 min cardio. I am still sore from yesterdays workout at ICON with a trainer. She was tough. Only four more weeks to go!  Hopefully there will be some good results!

Time For A Vacation...Down Memory Lane

I was wishing I was going on vacation and started thinking about the places I've been. Especially with this bitter cold that has been lasting way too long. These are two of my favorite places. Venice & Rome, Italy & New Orleans, Louisiana. They are similar in looks and smells. Both very good vacation sites and someday I hope to go back. About 6 years ago I was fortunate to go Italy. I spent 2 weeks there with a friend. It was an amazing trip and there were so many sites to take in. Toward the end of the trip I was craving American food, like hamburgers and grilled cheese. I had alot of craving, being 15 wks pregnant. We found a little place that we ate at every night. The manager, Frank, became our really good friend. We still keep in contact to this day. On their menu the last night I found that they serve grilled cheese. I had to order it, and to my surprise when it came out was actually some cheese that was grilled then plopped on a plate. It was still pretty yummy! They had the best minestrone soup and bread. What great memories can be made! We saw alot, but we missed alot, so I will definitely have to go back, but this time with Deven. Me and Lindsay at the Colosseum

One year ago we went to Louisiana with Deven's parents. It was about one year after Hurricane Katrina. It was such an interesting place, very beautiful! We went on a tour that showed the damaged that were done and to see it first hand made it so real. We also saw a few plantations. What beautiful structures with the live oak trees.

I wish they would grow here. Just look how pretty they are!

We got to try dirty rice. It was the best stuff, and you can't find anything here that compares. I never thought I would say I would go back, but this is another spot that will be visited again.

Grateful for Grandparents

On Christmas Eve I felt like we really needed a picture of our kids with their grandparents. We are so grateful to have them so close by and for all of their willingness to help us out whenever there is need. We love them so much!
