Christmas Season 2012
 The Boys Saw Santa at
TONYS GROVE
We went as a family to
Temple Square
This was the first time for my kids to see the lights.
It was a snowy, cold day!
We walked around and saw many of the church sites.
The kids got really tired, until we said
Ice Cream?

I let the kids take pictures with a smaller camera.
They had a good time!
This is one of the ways the kids liked traveling
 The Lights at Temple Square

This was the view from our condo...
The Kimball

 We saw...
The Visitors Center
The Joseph Smith Memorial Building
The Beehive House
The Church Office Building
and of course...
City Creek

Halloween 2012
 My two little "lumber jacks"
I actually called Zach, my lumber zach.
He thought that was pretty funny!
The last couple years, I kept telling my kids, they needed to dress up like "Elmer's Glue".
Every year, they would look at me like I was crazy!
So this year, I dressed myself up as the Glue!
The more I thought about it, how ironic is it that the "mom" is usually the one that holds the family together!

My very talented mother,
made these the night before Halloween.
I'm such a procrastinator when it comes to the holidays :)
I couldn't wear my glue costume to Hillcrest
because it hadn't dried.  I was bummed!
I had to go as a Denver Bronco football player.
That was all I could find last minute.
We spent the afternoon visiting my mom and grandma, then making a stop at Lee's for their Trick or Treating.  Making a quick visit to our ward's Trunk or Treat.  Then topping it off at a very busy neighborhood going door to door!  We will have to find a not so busy place next year!  Me and my little boys had a good time spending some good time Trickin and Treatin!

FHE

We spent the evening walking around the
Logan Temple...
I don't think my little boys have ever been there!
When we pulled up and were getting out of the car,
Zach said, "We are at the Kingdom".
It was pretty funny!
Married to this guy "forever"
We had a good time, taking pictures with our kids!
They thought we were crazy, but I'm glad to have
the great memory!

Happy Birthday Zachery

 My Baby Turned "7" Today
Before he woke up...
I hung balloons from his door!

We had lunch at his favorite place...
Chuckees ( Chuck-A-Rama )
 We sang Happy Birthday...
Zach had a hard time blowing out his candles!
But it was so dang cute to watch!
I sure love this little kid!
He is such a joy to have around!

San Francisco

On our trip to the REDWOODS...
The kids wanted to see San Francisco!
Coming across the bridge was exciting for all of us.
We had our toll money ready,
we ended up going into the wrong lane
and couldn't pay it...it was the prepaid lane.
We did, however, find the the office to pay it
so we wouldn't get the ticket in the mail!
I loved walking around the Golden Gate Bridge
Deven and I had been here before many years ago.
It was fun to be back!
Some of the kids, didn't enjoy it!
(as you can see from their faces (Landen))
I think the bridge made him nervous!

We loved driving up and down the hills in the city...
Seeing the trolleys...
And walking the Pier...
My only regret is that we didn't eat some good seafood
and buy a sweatshirt!
Guess that means I'll have to go back!!

Redwoods of California

This is one of my favorite places we've seen...
These two pictures put it into perspective.
The roots of this redwood doesn't look that big...
until you put us in front of it!
The kids had a great time running through the forest
I loved the peaceful, quiet sounds.
You could hear the trees creaking as the breeze
would blow through.
Making my girls smile for a picture!
This is the largest redwood recorded.
It's amazing how BIG these trees are!

I will admit...
When Deven said,
"Let's go to the redwoods"
I was sceptical, but it is by far
one of my new favorite places!
