San Francisco

On our trip to the REDWOODS...
The kids wanted to see San Francisco!
Coming across the bridge was exciting for all of us.
We had our toll money ready,
we ended up going into the wrong lane
and couldn't pay it...it was the prepaid lane.
We did, however, find the the office to pay it
so we wouldn't get the ticket in the mail!
I loved walking around the Golden Gate Bridge
Deven and I had been here before many years ago.
It was fun to be back!
Some of the kids, didn't enjoy it!
(as you can see from their faces (Landen))
I think the bridge made him nervous!

We loved driving up and down the hills in the city...
Seeing the trolleys...
And walking the Pier...
My only regret is that we didn't eat some good seafood
and buy a sweatshirt!
Guess that means I'll have to go back!!

Redwoods of California

This is one of my favorite places we've seen...
These two pictures put it into perspective.
The roots of this redwood doesn't look that big...
until you put us in front of it!
The kids had a great time running through the forest
I loved the peaceful, quiet sounds.
You could hear the trees creaking as the breeze
would blow through.
Making my girls smile for a picture!
This is the largest redwood recorded.
It's amazing how BIG these trees are!

I will admit...
When Deven said,
"Let's go to the redwoods"
I was sceptical, but it is by far
one of my new favorite places!

It sure has been a busy life around here...
Dancing
Berkley went to Jr. Prom with a really nice boy!
It was fun getting ready, figuring out how to answer, finding the right dress, shoes etc...
She had a really good time between the day date to prom and meeting a few new friends.

Madison has been dancing now for 7 years at Tuellers.
She is now a Tuellerette and loves every minute of it.  We have been traveling from Salt Lake to Pocatello for competitions and now we are getting ready for her final show this week.  I am excited to go watch!  She has the opportunity to travel to New York City this July with Tuellers and I am excited for her, but also a little jealous...

School is Out!!
The boys finished out another school year.  Logan is moving onto 4th grade and Zachery will be going into 2nd.  I'm excited for their new teachers!  Logan will be getting someone I have never met, but I am excited for the new beginning.  They both made some really cute friends and had an excellent year!
Thanks to both of their teachers...
They were outstanding!!
Berkley is now going to be a senior... Crazy!
Madison is moving on the be a sophmore...
Landen will be an eight grader...
I finished my first year of working at Hillcrest Elementary, I had a really good time and met some really cool kids and loved working with them!  Hopefully I will be able to go back again in the fall!

Memorial Day
This year I decided to get back to my heritage and visit the gravestones on Memorial Day!  My family would do this every year and since I got married it was harder to go.  Just me and the girls went and it was fun to show them all the family sites and talk to them about who they were.  I've missed making the visits.
I sure do love those that have past on and given us a legacy of greatness.
I hope I can be just like all of them!

Girls Camp 2012
This is my third year as a leader in Young Womens... I have loved every minute of it!
There has been good times and tough times, and I love all the girls a ton!
We have great priesthood, and leaders that are always there.
These girls know how to have a good time... many laughs!
This year instead of tents, we stayed at Camp Lomia.
It was blast... we still had a fire and we still froze, but the rain that came down stayed outside.
There was good food, good times, and friendships made to last a lifetime.
