Sweet Vacation.....Priceless!

We spent the last 10 days in Oregon. What a beautiful place! We loved every minute and miss it already.

This is the view of the coastline from our beach house we rented. What a view! In the mornings we would go out and check out the tide pools. I found this pretty starfish, poor thing had died.

Even the kids thought it was cool to see what they could find. We visited the Oregon Aquarium so they knew everything they were looking at.

This was the house we stayed at. The Quigley Sea Hoss. Great Accommodations. It is the white one in the middle.The boys even managed to wrestle at the beach. I love the look on Logan's face!

This was Zachery's first visit to the Ocean. He hated it at first and was scared of the big waves, but by day 4 he loved it and couldn't get enough. He is telling Deven he wants to go back to the house.

We haven't been back to the beach since we were married 16 years ago. I love the beach...........

The gang at Depoe Bay. We did a little whale watching from here. This is where we sailed for the deep sea fishing. Deven and I got sea sick and didn't catch a thing. Good thing the rest of our crew caught some for us.

We visited a couple lighthouses in Newport.

This one they are standing in front of is not working anymore and they say a young girl died here and her ghost still haunts it.

Everyone got to climb to the top of this one, everyone but Zach because he wasn't tall enough. As you can see he wasn't very happy about it. On the way to Oregon we stopped at Bonneville Dam, it was fun to see the dam and the fishery. The kids really enjoyed feeding the rainbow fish.


That is one big sturgeon!
