Twilight Anyone?

My girls, Berkley and Madison, went and watched Twilight today. The verdict is in.......they loved it! They are already trying to figure out a way to see it again. Twilight - The much anticipated movie, came out as everyone knows. A few of my friends and I went to the 9:15 showing last night. It was fun to hang out with the friends.......
We were so excited to see the movie. We had also heard that you had to be there at least a hour before the start to get a good seat, so Charlotte was there around 7:30. Thanks Charlotte! The rest of us got there a little after 8 pm. There were quite a few people in line in front of us. Alot of girls younger and quite a bit more gigglier (is that even a word:) It was fun to watch the movie before us get out and see everyones faces. Alot of smiles and a few people would say that it was really good. That made me even more excited...........during the movie there was a little laughing, some screaming ( not as much as I thought there would be ), and maybe a few oohs and aahs. When the movie was over I will say I liked it, but there was a feeling of not quite sure about it. There were definitely parts that I thought were really good, but then there were alot of times it seemed like there wasn't enough content. The opinions of the four of us that went were split. I'm still glad I went. We had a really good time hanging out. Thanks girls for a fun night away from everyday life.  I will watch it again sometime.  I'm sure I will have to buy it when it comes out on DVD.  Melissa, Keri, Charlotte, Brenda

I know what you mean..it was good, but it was too fast..not enough time to really develop a relationship..yea, yea, yea, I know its a movie and it moves fast, but it seemed like one day.
Plus, I mean come on did Edward have to be so brooding? The book seemed to be a little lighter. and bella, I know she had internal turmoil, but she seemed to hide it better in the book. To me, it reminded me of how quickly that Extreme Makeover Logan edition went..I was there for all of it and it was A LOT and when it was aired it was like..'and this happened and this and this and, the end..'not very fulfilling.
But I did enjoy the movie..I guess thats why we read the book first huh?
I guess as of yesterday 'New Moon' IS going to be made..we'll see how that one goes.

I'm glad someone feels the same as me-overall I must admitt I was disappointed there were good parts but it moved WAY too fast - I like the way I imagined a lot of stuff in my head more than the movie portrayed it...ahh well, I'll still see the next out of curiosity but definately not the opening day - bummer.

It was still fun to go out! A night out is always better than the alternative! You did do a good job on your family photos. You have such a cute family!

I had fun going with you all! I didn't love the movie, but it wasn't completely butchered. I think it just kind of felt imcomplete and under-developed to me. So I didn't hate it and I would probably watch it again and I'll go to the next one.
