Today we went with The Swan Family to Maple Grove Hot Springs. On the way there we saw quite a few deer and Logan thought we needed one so he could ride it. I asked him how he was going to catch it and he said he wasn't going to. His dad would catch it!
We arrived at the hot springs and changed into our suits. When I walked out of the dressing room into freezing cold air, I thought who would do this kind of thing? It is stinkin cold!!! But as soon as you step into the water it is nice and comfortable. In fact, the kids would get out and sit in the snow. We even had a few snowball fights.

There were four different pool to choose from. They were all different temperatures. I liked the coolest one, which was still 99 degrees.

Some of the kids were even crazy enough to go down to the river and take a dive. All I can say is BRRRRRRRR!!!!

Logan really enjoyed himself. He was the last one to get out next to Sidney.

Shara, Brandon, Sidney and Logan all relaxing in the HOT pool. I had to leave and go back to the cooler one. We all had a really good time and love being with Swans.

Zach had a really good time, but by the time his feet were so wrinkled from too much water, he was done.

The ride home was very pretty with the sunset and rolling hills of snow. This picture doesn't do it justice of what it really looked like.
This last year was a great year for us. It ended just the way we like with good friends, family and food. We wish everyone a wonderful new year ahead with health and happiness in abundance. We love you all!
Happy New Year!!!!

I didn't even know such a place existed. How fun! Happy New Year!
That looks like lots of fun! I remember once going hot tubbing the winter and then getting out and making snow angels. You're right - with the hot water, it isn't too bad! Fun. Fun.
I am glad that you have a great family on Deven's side to do things with because our family doesn't do much together. Just a dream on my behalf. Such cute kids I have never seen before.
