Haven't Done That In A Long Time

Camping... that is!

We decided it was time for our family to start camping again.

I don't know why we stopped, other than I hate being cold and I am scared that bears will come in the night and eat us!

The girls and I had such a wonderful time at girls camp, we decided to head back up to the same spot. We went to St. Charles canyon, which is up by Minnetonka Cave. We had a excellent time, the boys loved playing in the dirt and fire, the girls played a little volleyball, we all cooked smores, & fed the squirrels. One of the days we visited Bear Lake on the North Shore. The kids made a swimming hole and took the canoe around the shoreline. Of course, I forgot my camera that day!

We took up two tents and let the kids all sleep in one and Deven and I slept in the other. I think that made me more nervous.

To top it off... we couldn't go home until someone got hurt and brought home camping wounds. Zach was a trooper, still smiling!

We had a great time and will definitely be going again.
